Have a self care day
Doesn’t an afternoon painting indoors while listening to the raindrops hitting the pavement sound peaceful? If you answered yes, Prism Ceramics here in Chilliwack should be your next rainy day stop…You can pick from various ceramics including figurines, plates, mugs… whatever your heart desires! You then paint said ceramic, wait about a week for it to go through the Kiln then boom! You are the owner of a fancy new hand painted mug. Why not take it for a test spin & fill that new mug with some delicious Old Yale beer.
You deserve it.
Hit up your local coffee shops

Anita’s Bread and Coffee on South Sumas Rd (neighbors to yours truly) is the perfect stop for a delicious cup of organic coffee & fresh baked goods made with local grains. Stop by your local breweries
Breweries have been popping up all over the place, especially out here in Chilliwack and they make a great day no matter the weather! Make sure to swing by our neighboring brewery Farmhouse who we have been working collaboratively alongside with to bring something new and exciting for you guys…a little something we like to call our LoCal IPA! This low-calorie IPA is filled with notes of Tropical, Melon, coconut and is SUPER local…created with local hops from Brendenhof Hop Farms!! Come grab your four pack in our tasting room or select private liquor stores in Chilliwack.
And OF COURSE, nothing pairs better with a rainy day quite like a pint of our infamous Old Yale Sasquatch Stout or maybe our rich and creamy Himalayan Salted Caramel Porter. I mean, how could we not include this one…especially since we just “Winter-fied” our patio here at Old Yale with brand new patio heaters, lights and sturdy tent walls to keep the patio fully functional for these upcoming chilly months and rainy days!
P.s We also just recently added lots of new and delicious items to our Campfire Kitchen menu…just sayin’.
There you have it, a list of ways to spend your rainy days ahead!
